Description: Economic Fuel and the County of Humboldt present Prosperity! For The Aspiring Entrepreneur. This workshop will cover the basics of the Prosperity! economic development strategy, including the Prosperity Network, Targets of Opportunity, Industry Cluster work and the county’s regional branding project Humboldt Made. Find out what industries are growing in our region and how your business idea fits into the economic landscape in Humboldt County. Attend the workshop, learn the basics, and start your business planning. The workshop will be presented by Jacqueline Debets, economic development coordinator for the County of Humboldt. Economic Fuel is dedicated to ushering in the next generation of successful entrepreneurs. This spring, Economic Fuel will be awarding over $100,000 in seed capital to jump-start new business ventures in Humboldt County. All Economic Fuel events are free and open to the public. Visit

Registration Policies:

Registration and Fees: Payment of seminar fees may be made by check, money order or credit card. Payment must be received to guarantee your space in an event.

Refund Policy: If you wish to request a refund, please contact the conference organizer at least 48 hours in advance to discuss. You may also elect to send a substitute in your place. If the event is cancelled, all fees will be returned.

Cancellation Policy: There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. To receive a full refund you must cancel your registration within two business days of the event. No refunds will be given after this date. To help you in the event of unavoidable, last minute cancellations, all registrations can be transferred to the next class, or a class of equal dollar value. All registrations are transferable to another person upon your request

Training Event Privacy: Occasionally the cost of an event is underwritten by a third party sponsor. In those instances the SBDC reserves the right to share registration information with those sponsors. Opting out of mass mailings in the workshop process will opt out of all communications.
